Apparently, the pergola is a Problem Pergola for everyone. I look forward to getting it set up and turning it into the Pleasingly Pleasant Pergola instead.

Sometimes my mind plays tricks on me - I thought you were trying to buy a
PEZZETTI coffee maker! Don't ask... it's complicated!
Okay, and here I thought it was just me. When I replaced your parents' mattress, that very same company turned a simple bed-related transaction into a month-long series of entertaining phone calls. My two favourite calls, in order:
1) "hello i am calling to tell you that we are sorry do not have your delivery at this time and we will call another time goodbye." "Wait! WAIT! Do you mean it's going to be late, or do you mean it isn't there at all?" "...i'm sorry"? i do not understand? i do not speak much english."
2) "Hello, it's Store Manager calling with good news!" "Oh, great! You found my mattress?" "No, but I'm in the warehouse and I see a different one! Can I send you that instead?"
Anon - Yes, indeed, I think this pergola isn't going to be nearly as portable as your old gazebo.
Woodsy - Ha! You must have wondered why the hell I just didn't pick it up myself!
Janey - I am never ever buying anything from the Bay that I can't just pay for and carry out with me.
