Gene Blocking

My first reaction to this article about a new form of birth control that works at the genetic level was to think Fuck, yeah, I am all over that.

But jesus, messing around with genes? Maybe we know enough about how this one gene effects other genes, maybe we don't, and women get fucked over once more.

I'll follow any news on it with avid interest, but I am definitely down a couple levels from fuck yeah.

Hmm, this makes me think I should probably write an update post on how its going with the Fertility Awareness Method. Maybe next week. But apparently, it's nearly as effective as the pill.
