So turns out the cure for being traumatized when you run into the person who doesn't want you for the first time in two months is to run into him again three days later.
The second time, you tear up but you don't cry.
I'm almost looking forward to the next time. Perhaps I'll crack a joke.
I just started reading your posts...but I totally hear you!
I surprised myself when I ran into my ex for the first time after ending a 7 year relationship. I actually gave him a talking to...very unlike me...and to top it off, we met in an elevator...the entire crowd of elderly people cheered me on and he had to continue in the elevator after I got off!!!!
