I Want More Hand Holding

Yes, it is stressful for everyone

But it will all work out because everyone involved wants it to happen.

And then you'll be in your house, which will mostly be a comfort to you except when you are worried about the roof or the foundation or rodents or something else.

But those worries are like all other worries -- mostly nothing goes wrong and even if it does, your worrying didn't have any impact on it either way.

thank you!

Good to hear that it's not just me.

I think that after today, after it closes, I'll be able to proceed like it's a normal move, and then start enjoying the fact that it's my house.

We found that dealing with our agent was the most stressful part, getting our financing was the easiest. We had a really good broker who worked hard for us. All we are waiting for now is for the finance peeps to evaluate our house and volia we're done. Let me know if you need our broker's name. He was great with us all though out the process.

crazy stress!

There are so many decisions, big decisions (mortgage financing, lawyers etc) that have to be made all at the same time. Along with that come the medium decisions (packing, cleaning, painting moving) and then the everyday decisions (work, what to wear and what to eat). Unfortunately, because the brain is working on the big and medium thoughts the everyday decisions become the hardest to make. Take a deep breath...or a few of them. Moving and buying a house can be exciting...find someone's hand to hold...it's an adventure. Hopefully once this one's over you won't have to do it again! You've bought a house and will be living with friends you love in a neighborhood you love. The chaos will end. It's stressful but remember to keep breathing through it:)
